Benjamin Samaey is the founder of Cyprus-Consult and a Belgian online entrepreneur who has been living in Cyprus since 2024.
He helps entrepreneurs with SEO & Performance marketing, and through Cyprus-Consult and his team, to pay less tax and with the entire relocation process.
For years, I worked day and night, including weekends, to grow as an entrepreneur. But every time I checked my figures, more than half of my income disappeared into taxes.
My days in Belgium were filled with bureaucracy, gray winters, expensive accountants and a government that slowed things down more than it supported.
Sound familiar? That was my life too… Until I realized it could be legal, smarter, and above all, freer.
My name is Benjamin Samaey, a freelance performance marketing expert, digital entrepreneur, and founder of Cyprus-Consult. My entrepreneurial journey began in 2014 during my Digital Design & Development studies at Howest in Kortrijk.
Even before graduating, I applied for my company registration number, worked full-time in a garage, and built websites for clients at low rates in the evenings to expand my portfolio. Those years were intense, but they taught me discipline, responsibility, and entrepreneurship.
Driven by my passion for technology, I quickly grew into a full-stack digital marketer, specializing in SEO, Google Ads, e-commerce, funnels, and automation with AI. I helped companies grow, founded my own brands, and worked 12-hour days on something I believed in: creating maximum freedom through smart entrepreneurship.
No matter how well my business was doing, the Belgian system felt unfair: sky-high taxes, endless administration, gray weather, and a culture where ambition is often punished rather than rewarded.
I was inspired by another Belgian entrepreneur who moved to Malta and lived there with less stress.
Although Malta was beautiful, it felt too small, too busy, and too expensive. So I started looking for alternatives: Bulgaria, Estonia, Dubai… until I discovered Cyprus.

Today I live in Paphos, work primarily online, and help other entrepreneurs achieve the same, with guidance that is honest, transparent, and legal.
When I arrived on the island, it became clear to me how little Belgians and Dutch knew about these possibilities.
That's why I founded Cyprus-Consult: To help entrepreneurs, investors, freelancers, and retirees from the Benelux legally optimize their taxes, establish their business in Cyprus, and improve their quality of life.
No vague constructions, no gray areas… Only correct EU structures that provide certainty and peace of mind in the long term.
